Hidden Scientists/
Hidden Creatives

“Hidden Scientists/Hidden Creatives” is a poster exhibition highlighting the vital work of under-represented women in STEM and Graphic Design.

For this exhibition, the second-year B.A. Visual Communication Design students have honoured the work of underrepresented and marginalised women in science and creative fields by designing original posters in the style and aesthetics of female designers. The posters highlight the critical work of key female figures in science. The students completed this assignment in their Design and Career Management module. Three of the students who participated in this module are Erasmus students from IADE - Universidade Europeia - Faculdade de Design, Tecnologia e Comunicação da Universidade Europeia, Lisbon, Portugal.

This project is a collaboration between the TU Dublin School of Art and Design, the School of Biological, Health and Sports Sciences, the Sustainability and Research Hub and the Research, the Ethics and Integrity Office. It is supported by the Office of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and the Faculty of Sciences and Health.

The exhibition runs 24-27 April 2024, East Quad Atrium, TU Dublin, City Campus, Grangegorman.
